Life is normally abnormal around here . So here's what's up
My children and their friends had a surprise 50th birthday party for me. I felt undeserved and yet loved the thoughtfulness and care shown to me. May God bless them for the encouragement they are to me.
Dale's workmen's compensation case continues to go forward. We have submitted an application for a hearing and hope to see that accepted in the next 18 months to two years. He is working through the DVR to find some part time employment.
We are making plans for our produce plot. It helps lift my spirits to think that spring will be coming soon and browsing through the gardening books and seed catalogs makes itch to sink my hands in some soil.
God is supplying our every need and then some. I am finding that it truly more blessed to give than to recieve.

Hello,
Life is busy. The twins have had their birthdays and are now a year older. It seems like just yesterday that they were newborn and two years old. What memories......
Our legal counsel is working on Dale's case. Dale is supposed to start getting some pay from the state income continuation on October 1. That means that we will go through September with no pay from them as the program has a 30 day waiting period. God will provide as he always does.
Jonathan has a job now. The boys sold all of their hay and straw. The garden is starting to recover from the drought-like weather we had for the whole month of July and the beginning of August. The Farmer's market has been going better than last year PTL!
